Elliston Districts Netball Club under the guidance of newly appointed President Samara Fisher. Preseason training hasn’t been massive, but we have had a red hot crack at it over the last 5 weeks with a group of around 18 netballers across our 2 ends regularly in attendance. We also held a successful ‘Wind-in Day’ at Elliston on the 18th of March.
2023’s goal is to rebuild and develop some new combinations, bringing together the expertise of goalies Jess Bascomb and Renae Romanowycz with young goalies Emmy O’Brien and Adele Shepperd. As well WD Claire Daniell having a run in the defensive line up with Kelsey Hull and Nikki Schubert.
A few key outs are always disappointing, but it has presented the opportunity for other players and established a situation where we can test our depth and be a bit innovative with our combinations. A good coaching challenge to keep things interesting!
